North American Cardinal | Backyard Birding

March 21, 2016  •  Leave a Comment

Getting pictures of cardinals has not been an easy task for me. It has been one of those situations where they would be active but the lighting conditions were bad, or if it has been good weather they were not active. Cardinals also like to be around cover so that makes it difficult. Today, this male and female pair were active around a camellia plant. Because leaves are just starting to bud on the trees around the plant I was able to get some clean shots.
