This shot was taken well after sunset during a family beach session in Gulf Shores, Alabama. During the hot summer months sometimes it is best to shoot after sunset when the beach is a little cooler and the children start to wind down. The photographed was lit by my portable studio light and made a simple candid portrait look dramatic.
