A family beach portrait taken at Gulf Shores West Beach. With the hot an humid weather this summer, I like to start my sessions a little bit later so the sessions are more comfortable for the families. This allows for more dramatic looking portraits because I can have more control over the lighting.

What I can’t control is the backgrounds. For this particular shot there were thunderclouds all around the area and it made for a beautiful backdrop.
