This session required a conspiracy with their best friends and some ninja photography on my part. Zach was going to surprise Dani with a beach proposal and wanted it to be captured with photography. He chose Pensacola Beach. The game plan was to have a lovely picnic on the beach, go for a walk and then get on one knee and propose. It was going to be a beautiful sunset proposal.
Zach got me in touch with his best friends and we met at the beach beforehand to plan out the location. When we got there the envisioned sunset was replaced by an overcast and foggy day. Walking to the beach, the supposed to be secluded beach had some people fishing and they had a tent setup as well. With not too much time to plan for an alternate location I went with it and turned this into an asset. Instead of hiding among the dunes I would just pretend to be with the anglers, hiding in the open so to speak.
However, there was a storm cloud moving in and the fishermen didn't want to be packing gear during rain. So, just before Dani and Zach arrived at the beach, the fisherman were packing it in. In fact, they were going back and forth from their vehicles as Dani and Zach were walking to the beach. I had to resort back to Plan A which was to just hide among the dunes and pretend I was taking shots of shore birds. The pictures will tell the rest of the story....
