Originally, we were going to shoot this session at Perdido Pass in Orange Beach on New Years Eve. However, it was cold and breezy. The family and I felt like that would make for a difficult and unpleasant family session. Plan B was to shoot around Craft Farms in Gulf Shores. That was a good thing as it also started to rain. It was much easier being able to get into our cars if it started raining too much. The rain kept me from using some of my portable studio lights, but the overcast skies made for some great diffused light. Although we were not able to shoot at the beach, we did manage to find some places that had a Gulf Coast feel.
