Candid Gulf Shores Family Portrait Session|Family Lifestyle

After getting the formal portraits out of the way, this family wanted a portrait session of the family being themselves. This session was taken two days after the formal portraits. I normally do not schedule afternoon sessions because the sun is too bright but since this was play time, a bright afternoon setting was exactly what we needed. I brought my underwater camera for pool and surf shots and my fast sports camera for quick action and playful moments. To say this was a fun afternoon is an understatement. I felt like a kid getting the shots. Sometimes I feel candid moments likes these make for better photographs than the formal pictures. The kids are more relaxed and engaged in the sessions.
