These are from a series involving four families at a recent photo shoot at Alabama Point in Orange Beach. The vacationing families mostly wanted beach portraits of the kids and the kids wanted ice cream. Because there were four families involved I suggested starting the session a half hour early just to be safe in regards to time. When the families arrived it was still very bright. I was informed that an infant was arriving and I would not have much time for pictures as she was not feeling well. Since it was bright, I picked out an area in the shade. I made some quick shots of the infant with siblings and then the baby was taken back to the condo. After that other kids wanted their pictures taken so we just kept shooting at the same spot. I would get individual child portraits and then mom and dad would get in the pictures. After thirty minutes we had taken all the child and family portraits at this spot and I was ready to take them to the beach. However, the moms were happy with what I was showing them from the session and the kids were ready for the ice cream promised if they were good. I think the dads were happy their wives were happy so the session was a wrap.
