Kayla is a model local to Pensacola and wanted updated shots for her portfolio. Specifically she wanted some head shots and lifestyle looks. I suggested we shoot in downtown Pensacola on Palafox Street. It is one of my favorite places to shoot as there are a variety of backgrounds within walking distance. Because of this we were able to get five different looks in under two hours. 

My mindset going into this was shoot as if this were for a magazine cover or fashion catalog. I used a combination of natural light and off camera lights. I like using off camera strobes on location as it makes the backgrounds look like a studio backdrop. We were fortunate to have a bright sunny day which added a cheerful atmosphere.
