This family beach session in Perdido Key featured three generations. The session started of in bright sunshine so we stayed around the shadows of the beach pavilion to begin the shoot. Sometimes bright light can hinder shoot because the beach acts like a huge reflector of light and it causes squinting and eye strain. This doesn't make for flattering portraits! 

After a few minutes we got some cloud cover and this also made for some really good backgrounds towards the end of the session. Those few minutes after sunset really gave this family a chance to get some dramatic looking sunset portraits.
