Perdido Key Photographer - Family Beach Session

This family session in Perdido Key featured a two year old girl that had plenty of energy. I was chasing after her the whole time as she explored the beautiful beach in Perdido Key. There was so much for her to see that she just had to run around. Fortunately she would stop for a few moments for some great family portraits.

I used my portable studio lights for this shoot and it really enhanced the scene. We had some great clouds and colorful skies in the background. If I had just used natural light the colors would not have been bright and the detail in the sky would have been lost. This is one of the reasons why I use flash on the beach. Families remember the great sunsets during the session so I want to preserve that look. Sometimes using just natural light the colors and skies are washed out.
