This was a proposal at Gulf Shores beach everyone was in on except her. It was planned months in advance since all their friends were staying in Gulf Shores for Labor Day Weekend. He thought it would be great to propose at the beach in front of their friends. With phone calls and emails we discussed that the Gulf Shores public beach would probably be the best location.

The big day came around and rain was in the forecast. However, the hourly forecast called for clearing weather at sunset so it was looking good. We stayed with the plan and the storms did move out. Unfortunately it was clear everywhere except in Gulf Shores. We had some back and forth texting because there was a major downpour just 20 minutes before the proposal. Weather apps and radar did show the weather system was going to move out quickly so we just decided it was too late for alternate plans. Right at the time everyone arrived at the boardwalk, the rain stopped and the question was asked...
