This family session took place at a beach house on the West end of Gulf Shores, Alabama. They were staying at a busy place on the beach so I started out shooting around the sand dunes so I could minimize the background cluster. Once the sun started to set, the beach became less crowded so we moved towards the water. 

We had the typical summer weather pattern and this resulted in beautiful clouds in the background with varied colors in the sky because the light was bouncing and reflecting off the clouds. This family was very active so we got a good mixture of posed portraits as well as some candid shots.
