This portrait session took place under the Fire and Rain Sculpture in downtown Pensacola, Florida during the 2019 Foo Festival. The display consists of mylar strips and total 9,500 square feet. It starts at Intendencia Street and ends at Artel Gallery. 

Stephanie and I started the session about an hour before sunset and finished about an hour after sunset. This gave us different looks and lighting conditions. We walked the length of the display and even shot inside the Artel Gallery where the display ends. A dog even photobombed the shoot inside the gallery.

The last photo was a little more complicated to pull off. It was well after sunset so the street was dark when I used my lights for the portrait. I put my camera on a tripod, composed the shot, and then took portraits of Stephanie. Once we got a nice selection of portraits to choose from, I then walked up and down the street with my strobe and painted the street and display with flash pops. Stephanie manned the camera and would take take a picture which in turn triggered the the light remotely. Later in post editing, I combined four pictures, one of Stephanie and then three of the street.
