Photographers in Gulf Shores AlabamaI am a portrait photographer living in Baldwin County and serving Gulf Shores and other coastal communities along the Gulf Coast including Orange Beach, Perdido Key, Pensacola Beach, and Dauphin Island. Destination beach weddings in Orange Beach and family vacation beach portraits are services I provide. I love natural light photography and if it looks great at the time of the shoot we roll with it. However, nature doesn't always cooperate as much as we would like it to. I also use portable studio lights to add a little pop or really go for a dramatic flare.Thunderstorms during the summer are always a possibility. As long as it isn't raining or lightning those clouds in the background can make for dramatic looking backdrops. If you are having a beach wedding, being prepared for just about any kind of weather will help insure you preserve the memories of your day.

My outdoor sessions typically start an hour before sunset. We can watch the hourly forecasts and move the time up or down depending on how the radar looks. If for some reason we do have to cancel because of weather we can try a makeup day or shoot in the studio at Foley, Alabama.

Spring Break is just around the corner and I am now taking bookings for family beach portraits in Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, Fort Morgan and Perdido Key.  Spring is a wonderful time for family beach portraits as the temperatures are cooler and the humidity isn't as much as it is in the summer. I have packages available for small family all the way to larger family reunions. If you have just one day for a family session in which everyone is together, I can usually make things happen because I am not dependent on natural light photography.
