Lindsey and Seth were in town for their friends wedding in Fairhope and they wanted an engagement session while in the area. We discussed the possibility of having part of the session in Orange Beach where they were staying and then have more formal pictures in Fairhope before they attended the wedding. To make things easier we decided to shoot in Fairhope hours before their friends wedding at two locations: Some at the beach by Pier Avenue boat launch and then shoot at the Fairhope Municipal Pier. We managed to get some shots at the Fairhope Beach but then it started to rain. We waited but it was getting closer to the wedding so I decided we should try to find cover in downtown Fairhope. I think this turned out to be good as it gave them a different look. You can have all the ideas planned out but sometimes it is best to adapt to the conditions at hand.
