It is difficult for me to pass up a photo opportunity with an osprey if the situation presents itself. I saw this osprey perched in a tree at the Beach Club and couldn't resist taking a few shots since I had my wildlife telephoto lens with me. Osprey are somewhat approachable. This osprey allowed me to get pretty close for some portrait shots. I pressed my luck by getting closer, but eventually I got within its comfort zone and it flew off. However, it turned around and flew towards me giving me a great action shot as it passed overhead.
