Birding Afternoon in Gulf Shores Alabama | Eagles-Killdeer-Kingfisher

After a few weeks of it being cold or rainy, it was good to get out and visit some of the birding spots in Gulf Shores, Alabama. It wasn't an active day for the birds, but I did a get a good variety. I was fortunate enough to see both parents at the bald eagle nest at the Gulf State Park. It appears they had an American coot or some kind of waterbird for lunch. On this trip I also observed killdeer, a great egret, kingfisher, great blue heron, and brown pelicans. I didn't get any real action shots but it was a beautiful day on the Gulf Coast to be outside observing wildlife.
