This was an hour long engagement session in Perdido Key, Florida which is near Pensacola. We had very sunny conditions for the sessions with no clouds in the sky. With just an hour and three wardrobe changes for Meghan, we kept the session localized to one area. To maximize the shoot time and provide a variety of looks, I used a combination of natural light and portable studio lights. When it's a bright day it is sometimes difficult for the subjects to be in the best natural light as it is too bright. Using the portable lights I can find shade and then make it look like they are in the sun, or have their backs to the sun. This method keeps the subjects in comfortable situations and also preserves the backgrounds.
