The grandmother of this family wanted portraits to cover big walls in her home. Because of this she was really picky about the details in the portraits. I like that because she cares about getting a great portrait, not just snapshots. When we were going through the photos she kept going back to this photo as one of her favorites. During the shoot she wanted to get what she called "the original five" that started her family which is her husband and their children. I could tell during the shoot her and her husband felt blessed with their children and grandchildren. With this shot she wanted a reminder of where her current blessings started and it was great to see the smile on her face when we went through the family pictures from that day.
